Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcin Helderski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Emil Yanenko!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helderski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Helderski misses with a few strikes there.
Helderski throws a shot from downtown. Yanenko moves away and avoids it.

Yanenko looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Helderski!

Yanenko goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Helderski rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Yanenko's guard! Nice work there by Helderski!

Yanenko is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Helderski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yanenko swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcin Helderski will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Helderski moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.


It looks like Emil Yanenko has been cut.

Helderski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yanenko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Helderski has managed to get both his arms back between Yanenko's legs - danger averted.

Yanenko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Helderski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Yanenko has his foot on Helderski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Helderski works his way back into a safe position though.

That's time! Helderski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Helderski throws the left hand but Yanenko avoids the punch easily.
Helderski bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yanenko's head backwards.
Helderski lands with a nice body punch.
Yanenko takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Helderski misses with an uppercut.
Helderski connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Yanenko momentarily.
Helderski dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Helderski tries to bum rush Yanenko with a series of wild strikes but Yanenko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Helderski works Yanenko's body with a nice hook.
Yanenko shoots in for a double leg but Helderski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Yanenko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Helderski lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Yanenko drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.


Yanenko is rocked!
Yanenko walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Helderski swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
