Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Solofa Fatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stu Diat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fatu comes to the ring accompanied by Bad Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stu Diat!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Diat avoids it really well and circles away.
Diat takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Diat slips a jab and a cross from Fatu.
Fatu misses the jab.
Fatu catches Diat with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Diat uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fatu.
Fatu misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fatu lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Diat backs up against the ropes.
Fatu misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fatu jabs Diat right on the nose. Diat blinks but takes it well.
Fatu misses with a double jab

and Diat counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Fatu!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Diat working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Fatu is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Diat thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Diat is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fatu knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Diat wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fatu, who protects the arm well.

Diat tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Diat has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Fatu managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Diat.

Fatu bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Diat misses with a takedown

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice defenses there by Diat.
A punch combination from Fatu misses.
Diat is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fatu. Diat does a little dance to reset his feet.

Fatu looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Diat!
Diat tries to improve position but can't.

Diat is pushing Fatu's head away, looking to escape. Fatu manages to hold on to the position though.
Diat is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Fatu is working for a submission of some sort.
Diat pushes Fatu off but Fatu dives into side control.
Diat wants to get back to his feet.
Diat tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Fatu presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Fatu lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Diat is working to get back to half guard.
Diat wants to use the ropes to get back to his feet here.
Fatu cracks Diat with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
