Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aristos Ioannidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zanderson Zilva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ioannidis comes to the cage accompanied by If I Can't - 50 Cent. Zanderson Zilva is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ioannidis moves in looking to clinch but Zilva pushes him off.
Ioannidis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Zilva throws out the jab.
Zanderson Zilva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ioannidis defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Zilva's arms.

Ioannidis wants to get up but he can't break Zilva's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Aristos Ioannidis.
Zilva misses with a series of wild punches.
Zilva connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ioannidis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ioannidis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zilva tries to avoid it but Ioannidis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zilva to the ground. Zilva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ioannidis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zilva connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ioannidis shoots in for a takedown but Zilva shows good takedown defense.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Zilva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ioannidis has time to react.

Zilva has his foot on Ioannidis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ioannidis works his way back into a safe position though.
