Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osmo Soininvaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soininvaara comes to the cage accompanied by Allstar by Smashmouth. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soininvaara throws a nice outside leg kick.
Archer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Archer shoots in but no luck this time.
Archer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Archer misses with a few strikes there.
No luck for Archer with that takedown attempt.
Archer misses with a looping left.
Archer tries to move into range but Soininvaara moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Nice uppercut lands for Soininvaara. That snapped Archer's head back.

Archer is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Archer fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Archer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Soininvaara.
Archer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Soininvaara avoids it really well and circles away.
Osmo Soininvaara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Archer.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Archer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Soininvaara has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Soininvaara and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Soininvaara lands a nice hook to Archer's body. Archer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Soininvaara counters with a nice right hand that sends Archer toppling to the canvas! Archer scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Soininvaara finish him?!

Archer is trying desperately to land a takedown but Soininvaara is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Archer.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Soininvaara lands a nice hook to Archer's body. Archer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Soininvaara counters with a big right hand! Oh Archer is in trouble here! Soininvaara follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
