Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Mink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Roofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mink's entrance music is Macho Man. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Roofer's choice of entrance music: Jonesmann Feat. Azad - Der Soldat James Rhyme. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roofer throws a low kick but Mink avoids it.
Roofer looks to throw the jab but Mink is out of range.
An inside leg kick lands from Roofer.
Mink on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Roofer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Mink blocks a low kick nicely.

and Roofer counters with an outside leg kick.
Roofer lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mink takes a step back to recover.
Roofer throws a head kick that Mink semi-blocks.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mink shoots in looking for a takedown. Roofer tries to sprawl out of it but Mink keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roofer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mink. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Roofer. Mink shrugs it off though.
Mink shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Roofer as he avoids it easily.
Mink is breathing heavily.

Roofer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Mink is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Mink looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Roofer moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mink crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Roofer - the referee stops the clock and Mink gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Roofer. Mink manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Roofer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Mink on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Roofer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mink under the eye.

Good leg kick by Roofer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Whack! Roofer lands a heavy head kick that drops Mink. The ref tackles Roofer to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Mink was done.
