And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bako King!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hinch is defended easily by King.

King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
King is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hinch is looking for a sweep. King is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

King is working for a kimura but Hinch is defending it quite comfortably.

King had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hinch defends it easily.

King working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hinch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hinch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
