The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Christofi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Simmons circles away quickly and effectively.

Christofi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Horrible takedown by Simmons or perhaps it was just good defense by Christofi which made him look bad.

Christofi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Simmons sprawling to the canvas! Simmons rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Christofi finish him?!

Simmons leaves his chin hanging out and Christofi seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Simmons crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
