The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashnault bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Lancaster just misses with a punch to the body.
Lancaster walks into a straight right hand from Ashnault.

Lancaster scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ashnault is looking to escape.
Ashnault has hold of Lancaster's hands but Lancaster slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Lancaster tries to lock up and control but Ashnault gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lancaster throws a jab but it's blocked by Ashnault.

Lancaster changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ashnault looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ashnault is trying to get back to half guard.
Ashnault parries the strikes from Lancaster easily there. Lancaster is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ashnault to escape.
Lancaster lands a strong strike to the head of Ashnault. That's dazed him! Lancaster looking to finish here. Ashnault is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Lancaster lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
