Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lock Jaws (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nyrkilla Tapettava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaws has his takedown stuffed

and Tapettava counters with a single leg into guard. Jaws didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Jaws working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tapettava doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tapettava manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jaws is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Jaws has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tapettava can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tapettava postures up and lands a big shot to Jaws's brow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tapettava passes Jaws's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Jaws is breathing heavily.
Tapettava is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Tapettava is nestled in close to Jaws, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Tapettava lands a big elbow - Jaws is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Tapettava!
