Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Martin Le Corre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Ennio Morricone - The Return of Ringo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Martin Le Corre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Jones!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le Corre misses with a body shot.
Le Corre blocks a low kick nicely.
Jean Martin Le Corre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Le Corre swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Le Corre connects with a body shot that sends Jones's belly button to the back.
Le Corre blocks a head kick by Jones.

Le Corre ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.
Le Corre scores with a jab. Jones acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Le Corre sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Le Corre swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones cracks the inside of Le Corre's front leg.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Le Corre, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Le Corre against the ropes but Le Corre circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones shoots in and bounces Le Corre off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Le Corre swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jones pushes down on Le Corre's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Jones working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Le Corre's thigh. Le Corre counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Jones is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Le Corre is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Le Corre has escaped and now he's on top!

Le Corre wanted to stand there but Jones had control of the position.
Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Jones is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jones throws his legs up looking for a submission but Le Corre uses it to pass to side control.

Jones gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Le Corre in particular looking to stall.
Le Corre is trying to control the action in half guard but Jones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Jones works his way to full guard. Good work.
Le Corre wanted to stand there but Jones had control of the position.
Le Corre trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Jones is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Le Corre defends well.

Le Corre got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Le Corre has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.

Jones pushes a forearm under Le Corre's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Le Corre is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
