Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Bukovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konrad Hielscher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bukovsky comes to the cage accompanied by Donatan, Petez, Gural, Pih - Budź się. Tommy Bukovsky has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Bukovsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Konrad Hielscher!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bukovsky scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Hielscher is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bukovsky tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bukovsky has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hielscher manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bukovsky's best efforts.
Hielscher tries to get to full guard but Bukovsky has control of the leg.
Bukovsky looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hielscher with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bukovsky looks to land a strike but Hielscher avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Bukovsky lands a couple of digs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hielscher seems keen to control Bukovsky's posture.

Bukovsky thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bukovsky distracts Hielscher with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bukovsky accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hielscher utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Konrad Hielscher.

Bukovsky shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hielscher but Hielscher pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Konrad Hielscher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hielscher looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hielscher tries to land a front kick but Bukovsky steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Hielscher counters with a slapping leg kick.

Hielscher scores with the left hand. Bukovsky knows he should have avoided that one.
Hielscher fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bukovsky manages to avoid it.

Hielscher motions for Bukovsky to come forward. Hielscher throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hielscher loads up on a big right hand but Bukovsky slips the punch.
Bukovsky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hielscher throws out the jab.
Hielscher thows a body shot but no joy.
Bukovsky pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hielscher throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bukovsky sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bukovsky cracks Hielscher with an open hand slap.


It looks like Konrad Hielscher has been cut.
Hielscher throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bukovsky.
Konrad Hielscher is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bukovsky avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Good leg kick by Hielscher there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bukovsky lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bukovsky shoots in but Hielscher avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bukovsky throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hielscher was covering up waiting for the punch and Bukovsky finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hielscher has momentary wrist control but Bukovsky slips an elbow through the middle.
Bukovsky has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bukovsky chips away with some ground and pound.
Hielscher is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bukovsky pushes down on Hielscher's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Hielscher fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bukovsky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bukovsky ducks under a wild hook from Hielscher.
Hielscher bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bukovsky's head.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hielscher pushes Bukovsky back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A right hand to the body from Hielscher.
Hielscher swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hielscher swings wildly with an uppercut but Bukovsky uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hielscher breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hielscher swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hielscher.
Hielscher is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Bukovsky rather than just go for the knockout.

Bukovsky takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sloppy strikes from Hielscher. Those never looked like landing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hielscher fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Hielscher finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Bukovsky shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Bukovsky is working for a kimura but Hielscher is defending it quite comfortably.
Hielscher has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bukovsky is working away from the top position though.

Hielscher is looking to improve his position.
Bukovsky frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

A nice elbow there by Bukovsky.
Hielscher is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
A big strike lands for Bukovsky! That's really hurt Hielscher and he's turned his back - Bukovsky keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Bukovsky jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
