Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Sloan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Smierdzielski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smierdzielski comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 2 Chainz - Riot kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloan misses with a body punch

and Smierdzielski counters with a shoot takedown. Sloan fights it but they end up in guard.
Sloan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Sloan has momentary wrist control but Smierdzielski slips an elbow through the middle.

Sloan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smierdzielski slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Smierdzielski is working Sloan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Smierdzielski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sloan dives on top into guard.
