Vandalay is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Abbott's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Vandalay connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Abbott scrambles back to his feet.
Vandalay looks to throw the jab but Abbott is out of range.
Vandalay throws a wild body kick that Abbott sees coming a mile off.
Vandalay goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Vandalay is looking to land body kicks.
Vandalay throws a hook to the side of Abbott's head but Abbott sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Abbott lands a left and a right that send Vandalay crashing to the mat, dazed. Abbott thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Abbott tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vandalay paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Abbott scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vandalay doesn't seem bothered though.
Vandalay finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Abbott's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Vandalay falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
