Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Learned Astronomer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Comanche Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todd misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Astronomer.
Todd looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Astronomer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Astronomer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Todd defends well.
Todd must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Astronomer dips a shoulder and cracks Todd with a mighty uppercut! Todd falls back against the cage and Astronomer unloads with a barrage of strikes! Todd is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Astronomer screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
