Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Robert Booey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaivo Huone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kaivo Huone!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huone is looking to clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Huone as Booey shoots in.
Huone throws a series of strikes that have Booey backpedaling.

Huone moves into the clinch.

Booey is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Huone can't fight it off and eventually Booey manages to take the fight to the floor. Huone looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Booey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Huone wants to hold on but Booey pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Booey tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Huone tries to reverse the position but Booey maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Booey closes the distance and clinches up with Huone, looking for a takedown. Booey pushes Huone against the cage but Huone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Huone is looking to clinch but Booey is avoiding it.
Booey shoots for a double leg takedown but Huone sprawls well. He's pushed Booey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Booey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Booey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Huone as he avoids it easily.
Booey takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

The fight stays on the outside here - Huone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Huone lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Booey goes down and covers up as Huone starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
