Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milan Michalek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathurin Kerbouchard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Milan Michalek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mathurin Kerbouchard!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Michalek swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kerbouchard shoots and misses
and Michalek counters with a low kick, right behind Kerbouchard 's knee.
Michalek feints and then cracks Kerbouchard's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kerbouchard down.
Kerbouchard misses with a takedown
and Michalek makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kerbouchard really felt that one!
Kerbouchard takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Michalek scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kerbouchard doesn't seem bothered though.
Kerbouchard misses with a takedown attempt - Michalek sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Milan Michalek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mathurin Kerbouchard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Michalek connects with a solid leg kick.
Kerbouchard decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Michalek is not content to let Kerbouchard control the position.
Kerbouchard is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Michalek sees it coming and defends easily.
Kerbouchard throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Michalek is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Michalek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kerbouchard on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kerbouchard in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Michalek tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Kerbouchard!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mathurin Kerbouchard!
A very excited looking Mathurin Kerbouchard made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
