Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Adam Jensen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kenta Kobashi!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Kobashi.
Jensen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kobashi moves away.
Kobashi misses with a body shot.
Jensen misses the jab.
Jensen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jensen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Kobashi swings for the body but Jensen moves out of range.
Kobashi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jensen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kobashi can pounce on him.
Jensen looks to land a combination but Kobashi avoids it well.
Jensen avoids the head kick by Kobashi.
Jensen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jensen darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Jensen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kobashi.
Kobashi lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kobashi throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kobashi dodges the punch combination from Jensen.
Jensen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kobashi cracks the inside of Jensen's front leg.
Jensen swats away the attempt to clinch by Kobashi.
Jensen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jensen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jensen punishes Kobashi's body with a nice straight punch.
Kobashi lands a jab to the nose.
Kobashi tries to close the distance and clinch but Jensen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jensen looks to score with a jab to the body but Kobashi is just out of range.
Jensen is looking to wear down Kobashi with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Jab by Kobashi.
Kobashi lands a front kick.
Kobashi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Jensen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice shot lands for Kobashi.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jensen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kobashi - the referee stops the clock and Jensen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kobashi. Jensen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Nice jab there from Jensen.
Jensen tries to work over Kobashi's front leg with a kick but Kobashi checks it.
Jensen misses with a body shot.
Jensen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A lazy left from Kobashi finds it's target.
Kobashi works Jensen's body with a nice hook.
A head kick misses from Kobashi.
Jensen throws a hook but Kobashi avoids it easily.
Kobashi throws a shot from downtown. Jensen moves away and avoids it.
Jensen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Good work by Jensen as he checks the leg kick.
Kobashi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jensen missing with a left hand there. Kobashi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jensen misses with the combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Kobashi.
Kobashi bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Kobashi is looking to score with low kicks.
Kobashi tried to score with a low kick but Jensen checks it.
Some bone on bone action there as Kobashi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A good leg kick by Kobashi.
Kobashi misses with a kick to the body.
Jensen will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kobashi.
A head kick misses from Kobashi.
Kobashi plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!


Jensen is rocked!
Kobashi is looking to slow Jensen down with leg kicks.
Oh Jensen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jensen is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kobashi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jensen at a distance.
Kobashi fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Jensen drops his hands momentarily and Kobashi needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Jensen just on the top of the head. Jensen drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Jensen - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kenta Kobashi!
In his post fight interview, Kenta Kobashi started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
