Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Roosmalen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Martin Le Corre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stefan Roosmalen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Martin Le Corre!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le Corre blocks the body kick.
Roosmalen misses with a wild body shot.

and Roosmalen counters with an inside leg kick.
Roosmalen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Le Corre.

Roosmalen moves into the clinch.
Roosmalen trying to control the position but instead, Le Corre has worked for underhooks and has pushed Roosmalen into the ropes.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Roosmalen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Le Corre is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Roosmalen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Le Corre keeps working.

Roosmalen wants to work for an arm triangle but Le Corre is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Le Corre enables Roosmalen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Le Corre manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Roosmalen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Le Corre looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Le Corre looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Le Corre!

Le Corre creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Roosmalen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Roosmalen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Le Corre wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Roosmalen seems a little lost for a moment, as Le Corre dominates the positioning.
