Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Sorrowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and La Vics (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sorrowe comes to the cage accompanied by Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Heads Will Roll (A-Trak remix). Samuel Sorrowe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Vics. That's going to slow Sorrowe down.
Vics closes the distance and clinches up with Sorrowe, looking for a takedown. Vics pushes Sorrowe against the cage but Sorrowe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sorrowe shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sorrowe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vics fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Vics tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sorrowe swivels and escapes.

Vics is taking a breather. Sorrowe says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

OK we're going to have a standup here. La Vics hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Vics misses with a takedown attempt - Sorrowe sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Sorrowe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vics stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vics takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Sorrowe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Vics tries for a takedown but Sorrowe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Vics counters with a good low kick that Sorrowe was not able to check.

Sorrowe lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
