Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Omar Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Little comes to the cage accompanied by Snoop Dogg - Murder was the Case. Kazushi Sakuraba looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sakuraba is defended easily by Little.
Little throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Little takes one to the chin there.
Little closes the distance looking to clinch

so Sakuraba counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Sakuraba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Little swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Little looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Little trying to keep a closed guard but Sakuraba is proving a slippery customer.
Little is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sakuraba is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Omar Little has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Little closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Sakuraba is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Little sees it coming and defends easily.

Sakuraba is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Little has managed to free his arm - good work.
Little moves into full guard.

Little escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sakuraba gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Little is on top in guard.

Little is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Sakuraba throws a right and a left that Little avoids nicely.

Little shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sakuraba napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sakuraba seems a little lost for a moment, as Little dominates the positioning.
Little has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Sakuraba tries to improve his position but instead Little has taken his back!

You can see the frustration on Sakuraba's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Little is persistently looking for the submission but Sakuraba is defending it well.

Little is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Sakuraba has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Little has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Sakuraba taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Little doesn't care though - he's delighted!
