The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearse changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Decent striking displayed by Pearse there.
Serlal on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Pearse swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Serlal is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pearse.

It looks like Zbermat Serlal has been cut.

Serlal misses with a series of wild punches.
Pearse throws a looping overhand right but Serlal ducks down to avoid it.
Serlal drops his hands momentarily and Pearse takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Pearse lands a big right hand that sends Serlal crashing to the mat! Pearse stays standing though and waves Serlal back to his feet!

Serlal fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pearse manages to avoid it.
Nice takedown defense from Pearse. No joy for Serlal on that attempt.
Serlal stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pearse.

Pearse tries to clinch up but Serlal circles away and keeps his distance.
