Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Stanford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne tries to clinch but Stanford moves out of range.

Stanford gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wayne to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Stanford has a closed guard, preventing Wayne from standing up.
Wayne is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Stanford wants to stand up but Wayne is controlling him.
Stanford is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Wayne fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stanford manages to avoid it.
Dwayne Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wayne has closed the distance and engaged Stanford in a clinch.

Stanford changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wayne fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Stanford looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Wayne is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stanford doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wayne.

Stanford tries to pull guard but Wayne forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Wayne breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wayne has taken the fight to the clinch.

Horrible takedown by Stanford or perhaps it was just good defense by Wayne which made him look bad.

Wayne stands up and beckons Stanford to join him on the feet.

Wayne forces Stanford back against the cage and clinches.

Wayne breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Wayne shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stanford's guard.

Dwayne Wayne overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Stanford throws his legs up looking for a submission but Wayne uses it to pass to side control.

Wayne decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Wayne throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stanford was covering up waiting for the punch and Wayne finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Stanford shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wayne but Wayne pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Wayne shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stanford is trying to defend but Wayne finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Wayne tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Stanford is trying to control but can't.

Ryan Stanford has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Wayne shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wayne was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

BOOM! Wayne connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Wayne feints and then cracks Stanford's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stanford down.

Wayne shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stanford napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Wayne cracks Stanford with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Stanford is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Wayne throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stanford tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wayne is in Stanford's guard.
