PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Hatred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Max Hatred has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Max Hatred seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Archer.
Archer tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Archer looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hatred is avoiding damage well.
Hatred wants to control but Archer postures up.
Archer creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hatred sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Archer misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Hatred tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Archer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Archer has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hatred defend it? Archer steps over the head and cranks it - Hatred is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Archer!

A determined Aaron Archer didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
