The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Habibi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Earlandson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Earlandson tries to keep at a distance but Habibi has taken the fight into the clinch.
Habibi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Earlandson is defending well for now.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Habibi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Earlandson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Habibi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Earlandson somewhat.

and Habibi counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Earlandson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Habibi's guard.

Habibi wants to stand and escape but Earlandson is having none of it.

Earlandson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Habibi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Earlandson has Habibi in his guard.
