Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Orndorf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathurin Kerbouchard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orndorf comes to the cage accompanied by "Bodies" by Drowning Pool. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerbouchard moves out of range as Orndorf strikes.
Orndorf throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kerbouchard closes the distance and clinches up with Orndorf, looking for a takedown. Kerbouchard pushes Orndorf against the cage but Orndorf circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Orndorf fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kerbouchard looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kerbouchard ducks under a wild hook from Orndorf.
Orndorf moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Orndorf scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Orndorf leaves Kerbouchard with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Oooooh!!! Orndorf has knocked Kerbouchard down with a huge combo! Orndorf steps away and waves a wobbly Kerbouchard back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Orndorf feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kerbouchard sprawling to the canvas! Kerbouchard rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Orndorf finish him?!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Orndorf throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kerbouchard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Orndorf manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kerbouchard seems to have recovered his senses.

Kerbouchard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Orndorf is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kerbouchard goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Orndorf has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kerbouchard but great work by Orndorf.

Kerbouchard sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Orndorf decides to stand back up. Orndorf steps back and let's Kerbouchard get back to his feet.
Kerbouchard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Orndorf sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kerbouchard somewhat.

Orndorf sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Kerbouchard's defenses. It connects perfectly with Kerbouchard's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
