Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes to the cage accompanied by It's Dark and Hell Is Hot. Jenkins is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 3 little pigs. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chuck Liddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeremy Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell on the wrong end of a nice hook.


It looks like Chuck Liddell has been cut.
Liddell fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Liddell is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jenkins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Liddell tries to sprawl but Jenkins drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Liddell is defending against the submission attempts here by Jenkins.
Liddell wants to control but Jenkins passes into side.
Jenkins postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Jenkins passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Liddell!

Jenkins jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Liddell is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Liddell and Jenkins has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Jenkins is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Liddell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jenkins misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Chuck Liddell's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Jenkins is trying to get an arm triangle but Liddell is defending well.
Jenkins looks up at the clock and then as Liddell takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jenkins smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jenkins cracks Liddell with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Liddell is looking to regain half guard here but Jenkins keeps moving and retains side control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The ground and pound from Jenkins seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Jenkins landing a few strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Chuck Liddell's cut.
That's time! Liddell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Thud! ouch! good body kick from Jenkins - that will leave a mark!
Jenkins misses with a two punch combination.

Jenkins closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Liddell did well to prevent Jenkins getting side control.
Jenkins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Liddell does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Liddell tries to kick Jenkins off but Jenkins keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Liddell slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Jenkins postures up in Liddell's guard and throws a big left but Liddell blocks it.
Jenkins throws a big elbow that misses.
Jenkins is working Liddell over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jenkins accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jenkins loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Liddell being controlled here, momentarily.

Liddell bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jenkins's guard.
Jenkins manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Jenkins loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Liddell scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Jenkins land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Jenkins stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeremy Jenkins!
A very excited looking Jeremy Jenkins made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
