Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Mayers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taiki Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoki has chosen Gangnam Style as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Taiki Aoki was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mayers tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Aoki is in Mayers's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Mayers is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Aoki knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Mayers jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Aoki is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Aoki and Mayers has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
