And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGobblecock tried to score with a low kick but Baker checks it.
Baker looks to clinch
and Baker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and McGobblecock counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McGobblecock.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baker on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

BOOM! McGobblecock connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Let's hope that McGobblecock has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

McGobblecock has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Baker's face.
Baker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Baker tries to get out of the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Baker tries to lock up and control but McGobblecock gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
McGobblecock is landing with some decent strikes but Baker is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Baker has left one of his arms exposed and McGobblecock doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Baker screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

A relieved looking BJ McGobblecock thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
