Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cold Cat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yushin Okami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Okami has chosen EMF - Unbelieveble as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Yushin Okami has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yushin Okami!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okami cracks Cat with a good jab.
Cat scores with a body shot.
Cat shoots in but no luck this time.
Okami throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Okami swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cat counters with a slapping leg kick.
Okami shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cat as he jumps to the side.
Cat is looking to clinch.
Okami lands with a shot to the body.
Cat throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Okami throws a right and a left that Cat avoids nicely.
Okami throws the left hand but Cat avoids the punch easily.
Cat avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Okami feints a jab promting Cat to slip. Okami then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cat slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Cat scores with a nice right hand.
Cat tries to close the distance and clinch up but Okami swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Okami shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Okami is looking to take a break and control but Cat is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Okami thows a huge punch but Cat dodges it nicely.
Okami is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Okami really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Let's hope that Okami has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Cat connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Cat throws a leg kick but Okami sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Okami rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cat moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Cat is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Okami is defending well for now.

Okami lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cat backwards.

Cat wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Cat counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Cat lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Okami at a distance.
Okami throws a nice looking combination but Cat bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Cat counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That kick from Cat tenderised Okami's leg. Okami is trying to keep his angry face on.

Cat comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Okami takes one to the side of the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cat throws a leg kick which misses Okami's front leg but catches the back leg as Okami tries to avoid it.
Cat is looking to wear down Okami with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cold Cat dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Cat connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Cat tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Okami manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cat lands with an uppercut that bounces Okami off the cage and back into range.

Cat is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cat creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Cat fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Okami.
Cat changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Okami looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Okami takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Okami is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Okami takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Okami wants to control but Cat postures up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cat connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Okami some visible discomfort.

Okami is trying to control Cat's posture but Cat avoids it.

Cat has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Okami misses with a takedown attempt - Cat sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Okami throws a shot from downtown. Cat moves away and avoids it.
Cat scores with a nice head shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Cat. That's going to slow Okami down.
Cat tests Okami's chin there with a solid looking shot.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cat, as that shot connected.
Okami is still on wobbly legs! Can Cat finish him?
Nice body punch from Cat.
Cat lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Okami falls backwards - clearly groggy! Cat dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
