Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jim Morrison!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald leaves Morrison with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McDonald scores with a body shot.
McDonald rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Morrison counter with a right hand.

so Morrison counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
McDonald throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
McDonald is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
McDonald lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
This has been an exciting period of action!

McDonald throwing shots but Morrison is blocking nicely.
Morrison on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
McDonald tries to pass to full mount but Morrison defends it.
McDonald working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
McDonald is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Morrison is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McDonald scores with a couple of nice shots.

McDonald is nestled in close to Morrison, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

McDonald is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morrison is just riding it out for now. McDonald eventually gives up the hold.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McDonald connects with a nice short shot to Morrison's temple.
McDonald lands strikes from half guard.

McDonald maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Morrison could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but McDonald has cracked it and Morrison is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by McDonald!
