Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Martin Kampemann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cray Vasil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin Kampemann had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Martin Kampemann looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasil misses with a few strikes there.
Vasil misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kampemann misses with a wild combination.

Vasil tries to keep at a distance but Kampemann has taken the fight into the clinch.
Vasil is trying to break the clinch but Kampemann has him pressed against the cage.
The referee calls for Vasil to work.
Kampemann throws a head punch that misses.
Kampemann missing with knees to the body.

Kampemann gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kampemann would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Vasil is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Kampemann has his hands clasped together but Vasil extends an breaks Kampemann's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Vasil.
