Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Taba Tabashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Riddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Riddle looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Taba Tabashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Riddle!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Riddle checks a leg kick.
Tabashi thows a body shot but no joy.

Tabashi could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Riddle stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tabashi.
Riddle stalks Tabashi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tabashi's face. Tabashi staggers backwards, shaken.
Tabashi misses with a wild body shot.
Riddle misses with the combination.
Riddle connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tabashi. Tabashi circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That kick from Tabashi tenderised Riddle's leg. Riddle is trying to keep his angry face on.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Tabashi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tabashi throws a jab but it's blocked by Riddle.

It looks like Riddle might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Daniel Riddle has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Good leg kick by Tabashi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Riddle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tabashi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Riddle moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tabashi cracks Riddle with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Tabashi throws a leg kick which misses Riddle's front leg but catches the back leg as Riddle tries to avoid it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Riddle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Riddle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tabashi swivels and escapes.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Riddle can do anything to dispel that myth.

I really don't envy Riddle right now.
