Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leo Shi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samson Savea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leo Shi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samson Savea!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Savea manages to break the clinch.
Savea tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Shi is able to avoid easily.
Savea finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Shi. Those never looked like landing.
Shi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Shi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shi shoots in looking for a takedown. Savea tries to sprawl out of it but Shi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Savea manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Savea, as that shot connected.
Savea pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Shi back to the cage. Savea follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Leo Shi has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shi misses with a body shot.
Shi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Shi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Savea.
Savea shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shi pinned against the cage. Shi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Shi takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Savea feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Shi sprawling to the canvas! Shi rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Savea finish him?!

Shi is rocked!
Savea sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Shi's defenses. It connects perfectly with Shi's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
