Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luis deFunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vera has chosen You are just a JOKE! as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Luis deFunes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kid Vera!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
deFunes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vera.
deFunes throws a head kick that misses
and Vera counters with a nice uppercut.
deFunes thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Vera if he has to take too many more of those.
deFunes misses with a head kick.
Nice defenses there by Vera.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Vera crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from deFunes - the referee stops the clock and Vera gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says deFunes. Vera manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
deFunes throws the kick towards the body but Vera avoids it.
deFunes scores with a push kick.
Vera keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vera blocks a head kick by deFunes.
deFunes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
deFunes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
deFunes dips to his left and cracks Vera with an uppercut!
Nice body punch from deFunes.

deFunes tries to clinch up.
Vera connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
deFunes fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vera on the side of the head.
Vera throws a series of punches but deFunes avoids them all with ease.
Vera avoids the body shot from deFunes.
Vera connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed deFunes momentarily.
deFunes throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
deFunes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vera.
deFunes goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Vera is rocked!

Vera is still on wobbly legs! Can deFunes finish him?
deFunes fakes the body blow, causing Vera to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Vera goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

A very excited looking Luis deFunes rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
