The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers throws a hook but Kyzer avoids it easily.
Kyzer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Powers.
Kyzer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Powers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Powers bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kyzer wants to control but Powers postures up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Powers tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Powers connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kyzer some visible discomfort.
Powers throwing strikes but Kyzer manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Powers is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Kyzer is hurt! He's hurt bad - Powers fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Kyzer from any more punishment! Congratulations to Powers! Great finish!
