Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hairy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nigel McHughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Saigon - Bring Me Down . McHughes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Welcome To My Hood. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Nigel McHughes enters the cage!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nigel McHughes!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Kane is predictable there
and McHughes counters with a right hand to the body.
Hairy Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane throws an ugly left hook that misses
and McHughes counters with a leg kick.
McHughes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kane manages to avoid it.
A bone on bone clash there as McHughes blocks the leg kick.
McHughes misses with a wild body shot.
Kane throws out a leg kick but McHughes moves out of range and Kane only half commits.
Kane tries to score with a low kick but McHughes moves his leg out of the way.
Nice defenses there by Kane.
Both fighters circling a little - Kane finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Kane throws a shot to the body.
Kane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice defenses there by Kane.
McHughes throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kane.
An inside leg kick from Kane misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kane fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McHughes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McHughes on the side of the head.
McHughes takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kane closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kane pulls guard successfully.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
McHughes won't allow Kane to sweep him here.
McHughes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
McHughes missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kane has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think McHughes should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kane has tightened it up now! McHughes should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Hairy Kane thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
