The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaeger loads up on a big right hand but Hummels slips the punch.

Hummels closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jaeger quickly recovers to half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Hummels is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jaeger is just riding it out for now. Hummels eventually gives up the hold.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jaeger connects with a nice short shot to Hummels's temple.

Jaeger is nestled in close to Hummels, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jaeger looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hummels with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hummels is rocked!
Jaeger lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Hummels! More strikes land and this one is all over! Jaeger jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
