PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sameer Hamadoui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Olov Hermansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hamadoui comes to the cage accompanied by Lights Out. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hermansson lands an overhand right.

Hermansson clinches up with Hamadoui and pushes him back against the cage.
Hamadoui is trying to pull guard but Hermansson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Hamadoui drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hermansson pulls his leg out and moves away.

Hamadoui is trying to push Hermansson away but Hermansson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Hermansson gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Hermansson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hermansson is trying to control the action in half guard but Hamadoui is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Hermansson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hamadoui doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hermansson.

Hamadoui manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hermansson on his heels. He'll look to pass Hermansson's guard now, I'm sure.

Hermansson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hamadoui defends it easily.
Hamadoui has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hermansson is proving hard to escape from.

Hermansson has his foot on Hamadoui's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hamadoui works his way back into a safe position though.
Hermansson is pulling down on Hamadoui's head. It's preventing any offense from Hamadoui, at least for the moment.

Hamadoui drops back looking for a leg! Hermansson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hermansson manages to kick Hamadoui off! Hamadoui jumps back into Hermansson's guard.

Hamadoui is posturing up here but Hermansson has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hamadoui tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hamadoui has to tap! Slick submission there by Hermansson!
