Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Emil Yanenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Picard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yanenko misses the shot to the body.
Picard lands a jab.

It looks like Emil Yanenko has been cut.
Picard lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Picard leaves Yanenko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Yanenko closes the distance and clinches up with Picard, looking for a takedown. Yanenko pushes Picard against the cage but Picard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Yanenko drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Yanenko stops Picard from standing up.
Yanenko wants to control from the top but Picard keeps moving.
Yanenko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Yanenko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yanenko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Yanenko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Picard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Yanenko wants to control from the top but Picard keeps moving.

Picard wants to get back to his feet but Yanenko is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Yanenko tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Yanenko has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Yanenko has an Americana. Picard didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Yanenko is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Yanenko hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
