Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gregory Shengelia!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shengelia fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nice takedown defense from Black. No joy for Shengelia on that attempt.
Shengelia doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Black counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Clayton Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gregory Shengelia.
Black wants to control from the top but Shengelia keeps moving.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Black's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Black tries to free his leg and advance position but Shengelia is retaining full guard.
Black slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Shengelia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Black has hold of Shengelia's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Shengelia tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Black cranks the arm and Shengelia screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Shengelia, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Clayton Black!
