Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Boogie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel's entrance music is Ain't No Sunshine. A fine choice. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Boogie!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boogie closes the distance and clinches.
Steel lands a right hand.
Boogie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Boogie fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Steel is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Boogie can't fight it off and eventually Steel manages to take the fight to the floor. Boogie looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Steel tries to free his leg and advance position but Boogie is retaining full guard.
Steel in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Steel has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Boogie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Steel defends well.
Steel has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Boogie to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Steel is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Boogie pulls down on the head and he's put Steel to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mike Boogie!
Mike Boogie decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
