Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Henry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Quattro!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry misses with a looping left.
Quattro throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Henry fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Quattro has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Quattro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Henry sprawls well. Henry wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Quattro gets slowly back to his feet.

Henry misses with the combination.
Henry throws a right hand that Quattro ducks under and follows up with a left that Quattro also avoids with ease.

Henry drops Quattro with a beautiful combination! Quattro stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Henry is looking for the KO!

Henry throws a hook to the side of Quattro's head but Quattro sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Henry throws a combination. Quattro tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

enabling Quattro to counter with a crisp jab.

Quattro tries to land knees in the clinch but Henry avoids the damage to the body.

Quattro has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Quattro has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Henry is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Henry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quattro swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Quattro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Henry gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Quattro takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Quattro takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Horrible takedown by Henry or perhaps it was just good defense by Quattro which made him look bad.
Henry's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Henry duly obliges.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Henry, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
