Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simo Solmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Solmu is trying to control but can't.
Solmu tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control.
Solmu is working hard here to advance position.
Jones drops an elbow to the side of Solmu's head.
Solmu gets back to full guard.

Solmu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Solmu is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Solmu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jones throws a big elbow that misses.

Jones has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Solmu to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jones is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Solmu pulls down on the head and he's put Jones to sleep! This one is all over!
