Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kurokawa Kenji!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lorenzo Snow!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenji misses with an uppercut. Snow saw that one coming.
Kenji feints and then cracks Snow's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Snow down.
Snow throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kenji blocks a leg kick.
Snow blocks a leg kick.
Snow connects with a solid leg kick.
Snow has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Snow there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kenji throws a leg kick that is checked
and Snow counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kurokawa Kenji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Snow throws out a loose jab but Kenji uses good head movement to avoid it.
Snow walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Snow connects with a leg kick. Kenji looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Snow uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kenji.

and Kenji counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Snow counters with a leg kick.
Kenji connects with a solid leg kick.

Kenji lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Snow at a distance.
Snow looks gassed!
Kenji avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Kenji misses with a looping left.

Snow throws a leg kick
and Kenji cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


It looks like Lorenzo Snow has been cut.
Snow moves in looking to clinch but Kenji pushes him off.
Snow takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Snow clinches.
Kenji is working Snow over against the cage.
Snow lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kenji backwards.
A nice right hand lands inside from Kenji.
A head punch on the inside from Snow fails to land.
Kenji blocks a body shot from Snow.
Snow misses with a hook to the ribs.
Snow tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kenji's elbow.
Kenji works on Snow's body with a couple of short punches.
Kenji tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Kenji lands an uppercut.
Snow is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kenji is keeping busy.
Kenji throws a punch but it's blocked by Snow.

Snow is trying to maintain a safe position but Kenji gets an underhook and turns Snow into the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kenji lands a hook that snaps the head of Snow backwards.
Kenji lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Snow misses with a punch on the inside.
A right handed body shot lands from Kenji.
Snow misses with a punch on the inside.
Snow blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Snow tries to stall but Kenji uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Kenji lands a shot to the body.
Snow fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Nice body punch from Kenji - that landed with a thud.
Kenji lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Kenji using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Snow has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kenji.
Kenji tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kenji throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Snow blocks it with crossed arms.

Kenji working some nice short punches in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kurokawa Kenji dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kenji, right into the meat.

Kurokawa Kenji is winning the standup battle so far.
Good leg kick by Snow there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kenji throws a head kick but Snow moves out of range.
Kenji takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kenji throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Kenji lands a big head kick that sends Snow to the canvas! Kenji follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kurokawa Kenji!
During a confident post fight interview, Kurokawa Kenji thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
