Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brewster Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Riley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Brewster Burns!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Riley.
Riley fails with a takedown attempt.
Riley misses with a takedown attempt - Burns sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Riley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Burns just misses with a punch to the body.
Riley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Burns avoids it really well and circles away.

Riley gets control of Burns's arms and successfully pulls guard. Riley will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Burns decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Riley, up you get!
Burns lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Riley circles away quickly and effectively.

Burns shoots in and bounces Riley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Burns gets to his feet - Riley follows without any prompting.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Burns lands a really nice looking cross but Riley seems unphased.

Burns looks to land a right hand but Riley moved out of range.
Burns lunges at Riley with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Riley's hand.
Burns will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Burns jabs Riley right on the nose. Riley blinks but takes it well.
No luck for Riley with that takedown attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Burns rushes Riley and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Riley wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Burns breaks from the clinch.
Burns cracks Riley with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Riley dodges the punch combination from Burns.
Riley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Riley drives through with a takedown into Burns's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Riley stops Burns from standing up.

Burns kicks Riley off and gets to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Riley.
Burns lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Riley tries to close the distance and clinch but Burns swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Riley gets caught napping as Burns dives in and scores a takedown. Riley manages to retain guard.
Burns wants to stand and escape but instead Riley has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Burns has his feet on Riley's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Burns shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Riley dodges the punch combination from Burns.
Riley shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Burns stuffs the takedown attempt from Riley. Riley gets slowly back to his feet.
Burns tries to clinch up.
Riley walks into a jab.
Burns with a hook.
Burns is looking to clinch but Riley is avoiding it.
Riley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Burns manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Burns throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Riley counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Burns kicks Riley off and gets back to his feet.
Riley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Burns avoids it really well and circles away.

Burns throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Riley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Burns is in Riley's guard.
Burns looks gassed!

Burns stands up and waves to Riley to follow him.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Riley.
Riley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Burns pinned against the cage. Burns gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Riley takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Burns forces Riley back against the cage and clinches.

Burns's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Riley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Burns is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Riley looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brewster Burns dominated that round.

Burns shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Burns showed some decent athleticism there.
Riley wants to control but Burns is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Brewster Burns has got the better of the ground game so far.

Burns gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Riley dives in and grabs Burns's left leg, looking for a takedown. Burns pushes down on Riley's head and hops out.

Burns closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Riley is trying to pull guard but Burns has him pressed against the cage.
Burns prevents the takedown attempt.

Riley tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Burns just stands there and leans against the cage.

Riley gets caught flat footed, as Burns shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Burns gets to his feet. Riley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Burns breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Burns changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Riley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Burns looks to land a combination but Riley avoids it well.

Burns throws a right and a left that both miss.

Burns lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Riley is defended easily by Burns.

Burns closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Riley to the mat! Riley manages to get full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Riley is on top in guard.
Riley stands and throws Burns's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Burns is pushing Riley's head away, looking to escape. Riley manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burns is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Riley tries for a kimura but Burns is defending well.
Burns pushes Riley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Riley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Burns takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Burns tries to escape but Riley is in control.

Riley is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Burns is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brewster Burns showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Burns takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Riley is looking for a sweep. Burns is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Burns throws out a leg kick but Riley moves out of range and Burns only half commits.
Riley tries for a takedown but Burns sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Riley is trying to control the position but Burns postures up.
Burns wanted to stand there but Riley had control of the position.
Riley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Burns stands and steps away. Riley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Burns keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A lazy left from Burns finds it's target.
Riley fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Burns moves into the clinch successfully.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brewster Burns comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Burns has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
