The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcius tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hagen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hagen shoots in for a double leg but Garcius sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Garcius shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hagen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Garcius keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hagen's head.

Hagen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Garcius defends well.
