PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xfactor Xfactor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rhonin Rheese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xfactor's entrance music is Aerosmith-Dream On Lyrics. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rheese landing knees to the head.
Xfactor displaying some good clinch control by pressing Rheese up against the cage.

Xfactor is trying to trip Rheese. He has hold of a leg but Rheese is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Xfactor persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Rheese is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Xfactor seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Rheese wants to stand and escape but Xfactor is having none of it.

Xfactor gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rheese enables Xfactor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rheese manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rheese keeping moving, preventing Xfactor from controlling successfully.
Rheese is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Rheese looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Xfactor passes into half guard.
Rheese pushes Xfactor off looking to stand but Xfactor dives back in and keeps control.
Xfactor lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Xfactor not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Rheese wants to control but Xfactor is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Xfactor with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Xfactor is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Xfactor slows the pace down in half guard.

Xfactor gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Xfactor clinches up with Rheese and pushes him back against the cage.
Xfactor prevents Rheese from breaking the clinch.

Rheese is trying to break the clinch but Xfactor has him pressed against the cage.
Rheese looks gassed!

Xfactor turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Rheese is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Rheese tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Xfactor has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Rheese is defending well but eventually Xfactor manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Rheese has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
