Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Augello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zimmerman comes to the cage accompanied by Good the Bad and the Ugly. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Augello throws a shot to the body.
Zimmerman tries for a takedown but Augello sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Augello jabs Zimmerman to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Augello swinging wildly here.
Augello connects with a body shot.
Augello fails to land with a series of punches.
Augello darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Levi Zimmerman has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Augello connects with a right hand. Zimmerman shakes it off.

Augello scores with a nice right hand.
James Augello is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Augello moves out of range of the body kick from Zimmerman.
Zimmerman walks into a straight right hand from Augello.
Augello throws a body punch but Zimmerman moves out of range.
Augello lands a leg kick that knocks Zimmerman off balance momentarily.
Zimmerman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Augello's waist but Augello gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zimmerman off to one side.
Zimmerman takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Augello fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zimmerman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Augello is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Augello is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Zimmerman rather than just go for the knockout.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Augello, as that shot connected.

Levi Zimmerman's cut is getting worse.
Augello looks to score with a jab to the body but Zimmerman is just out of range.

Augello fails to land with a series of punches.
Zimmerman shoots in for a double leg but Augello sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Zimmerman has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Augello ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters circle momentarily. Augello darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Levi Zimmerman's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Augello, as that shot connected.
Augello misses with a two punch combination.
Augello has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Zimmerman misses with a takedown attempt - Augello sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Zimmerman stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Augello.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Zimmerman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Augello defends it nicely.
Augello throws the left hand but Zimmerman avoids the punch easily.
Levi Zimmerman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Zimmerman misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Augello throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Augello comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Augello catches Zimmerman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Augello leaves Zimmerman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Augello fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zimmerman manages to avoid it.
Augello throws a series of punches but Zimmerman avoids them all with ease.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Zimmerman.

James Augello seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Zimmerman shoots for a takedown but Augello saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Levi Zimmerman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zimmerman tries a head kick but it misses.
Horrible takedown by Zimmerman or perhaps it was just good defense by Augello which made him look bad.
Augello lands a glancing blow to the side of Zimmerman's head.

Jeez, Levi Zimmerman's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Levi Zimmerman's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
