Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Irwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simo Silakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Irwin comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - T.N.T. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irwin swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Irwin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Silakka thows a body kick. Irwin tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Irwin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Silakkas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silakka tries to land a leg kick but Irwin saw it coming and moves away.
Silakka fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silakka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Irwin cracks Silakka with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Irwin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Silakka counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Irwin swings for the body but Silakka moves out of range.
Irwin throws a nice outside leg kick.
Silakka misses with a leg kick.
Silakka scores with a spinning back kick!
Silakka ducks under a wild hook from Irwin.
Irwin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Irwin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nice cross by Irwin.
Irwin throws a wild body kick that Silakka sees coming a mile off.
Silakka throws a body punch but Irwin moves out of range.
Silakka cracks Irwin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Irwin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Silakka is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silakka tries to clinch up but Irwin circles away and keeps his distance.
Silakka is still on wobbly legs! Can Irwin finish him?
Silakka buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Irwin is breathing heavily.
Irwin throws a head kick that misses.
Silakka tries to land a front kick but Irwin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Silakka pivots, looking for a leg kick but Irwin is out of range and Silakka settles back down.
Silakka pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Irwin misses with a kick to the body.
Silakka misses with a body kick.
Irwin swats away the attempt to clinch by Silakka.
Silakka is looking to clinch.
Irwin throws a quick head kick that knocks Silakka silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Irwin is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Paul Irwin!

After winning the bout, Paul Irwin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
