Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Gibbons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is All In The Family. On his way into the cage it seems that Tony Thompson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tony Thompson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thompson instigates a clinch.
Gibbons managing to block the knees to the body from Thompson.
Thompson keeps control of Gibbons as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Thompson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gibbons has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Gibbons jumps into guard, dragging Thompson to the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Thompson wants to pass the guard but Gibbons is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thompson is controlling the pace.

Thompson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Gibbons is now in Thompson's guard. A big mistake from Thompson there, giving up the dominant position!

Gibbons decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Thompson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gibbons scores with a couple of nice shots.
Gibbons is trying to control the action in half guard but Thompson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Thompson wants to sweep but no luck.

Thompson controls Gibbons momentarily but Gibbons frees himself.

Gibbons got a little sloppy there for a moment and Thompson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gibbons has managed to get both his arms back between Thompson's legs - danger averted.

Thompson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gibbons is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Thompson.

Gibbons ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Thompson shoots in and drives through. Gibbons sprawls well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thompson tries to clinch but Gibbons moves out of range.
Gibbons connects with a stiff jab that staggers Thompson - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
